Travel to Outposts via Embark Beach
This is something I also saw expressed on Wiki. Since Embark Beach is a place for people to find groups...why does it just restrict these groups to doing missions together?
Groups can do many other things together such as quests. It seems a no-brainer that outposts should be accessible directly via Embark Beach.
This would bring more people there to do more group-oriented things such as finding a group for the WiK quests and traveling to outposts directly.

It makes a lot of sense especially seeing as they have a Zaishen Vanquish now. Collecting all the outposts on a single NPC for each campaign would prevent clutter.

Very good point. In that case if you had an 8 player group, the game would automatically split the 8 into two groups of 4. Or in the case of a 6 player area, it would automatically split the group into two groups (5 and 3)...
Or it would just come up with an error message stating "Must remove x players to travel to this outpost".
There would be a way to implement it properly.

Anet already said that they limit it to outposts with missions because otherwise too many options might confuse the poor illiterates.

I have no clue about how many outposts the is in guild wars, but lets say 100(+missions,towns) in proph, then another 100 in cantha, and 70 ish in elona
thats 270 names that needs to be put in.
not signed, embark is useless as it is.

i swear players are such whiners. we just got quite an update with features that we didn't expect, yet you still want more.
to the OP, why not try to create the coding for this idea of yours. maybe after you sit down and try to do this on your own you will understand why they chose to only mark towns/outposts with missions.

I think it would probably be just too much to have all towns and outposts included in embark beach. However, I would like to see them add some major ones, like ToA and Gate of Anguish, since those are places where people obviously group a lot. Still, I suppose its not that hard to meet in a GH, transfer to embark beach, transfer to a mission in the right area and the transit to your final destination. Oh wait. While typing that, it felt like a lot of work

EotN outposts are accesible, I suppose it's because they are less than in other campaigns. I would add DoA and ToA/Zin Ku/Chantry too, but I don't think it's necessary to have all towns and outposts.

Embark still needs transport to DoA, ToA, Urgoz, and the Deep (will understand if its still 8 person limit for canthan elite missions).
Otherwise, will still be easier for one person to map while group is forming.

They send you to any outpost in Eye of the North.
For the rest of the game, there's only need to visit other outposts to get closer for ZBounties and ZVanquishes, but they are just one jump away.

If you included Urgoz and The Deep, the travel scrolls to those locations would be completely redundant and worthless. Best to leave those off the list in my opinion.

The purpose of Embark Beach was to make it easier for players to locate other players that all want to complete the same content together, and this desire most often occurs with mission content. Every other outpost is much less significant in comparison, so there is no great need to include access to those.

Still being able to go to ToA from Embark would help and would fit with the theme of the place.

Shoot, I'd like to be able to go straight to Embark without having to have a layover in GToB

Pretty certain you can, provided your character has 'unlocked' EB.
When I went to my GH on a character that had not been to EB yet, I noticed the EB outpost was missing, but visiting GTOB seemed to unlock it.
So as far as I can see, once it's been unlocked on a character, you can then go straight to it from anywhere that can see the ship on the world map.
What I find rather annoying is that the Elonian travel NPC in EB is so far away from the zquest flags.
Say you get a zquest for a nightfall mission, you've gotta go all the way to the other end of EB to see the travel person... it's quicker to map to Kamadan and then to the mission! So much for an outpost of convenience!
I think a better layout would've been to have all four travel npcs in the little area where the Tyria and North travels are, and the traders spread out between the other two areas of boxes. (Do we really need 3 of each trader anyway? )
Back to the original topic - I think it would be an excellent idea to have an extra option under each region on each travel npc to go to towns/outposts in that region. Even if it were just for the 'capital' town for each region. The North travel npc already does it, so it's obviously possible.

The Embark Beach appears in the Boat Icon once unlocked.
You unlock it either by visiting it from a mission talking to a Zaishen Scout, or by visiting a Port Town such as Lion's Arch.
